Janice G. (Coon) Readshaw

Janice G. (Coon) Readshaw, 91, passed away on February 24th, 2024. Janice was born in Sharon, PA on December 26th,1932 to Mortimer F. Coon and Gertrude (Hobbins) Coon. She married the late William M. Readshaw April 9, 1955 who passed away September 13th, 2020.

She is survived by her children, Darryl C. Readshaw, Dawn C. Thomas, Carrie L. Petrosky, and Randy (Rhonda) W. Readshaw. Also surviving are her grandchildren - Karla Readshaw (Brennan) Moultak, Kellen Readshaw, Jared (Jenna) Thomas, Kyle (Danielle) Thomas, Jess Petrosky, Jake (Jillian) Petrosky, Joshua (Claire) Redhelm, Andrea (Tyler) Readshaw Newcomer, great grandchildren - Lily Petrosky, Ruby Thomas, W. Webb Petrosky, Theodore Thomas, Presley Thomas, Huck Petrosky, Logan Thomas, Savannah Thomas, Kieran Moultak.
Janice loved spending time with her family. She was a nurse at Shenango Valley Osteopathic Hospital for many years. She was a long time member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sharon and recently attended Valencia Presbyterian Church in Valencia, PA. Janice resided in Gibsonia at St. Barnabas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William Readshaw, sister, Carolyn Cronin, son in laws - Mark Petrosky and William Thomas.

The family would like to thank St. Barnabas Assisted living, Nursing Home and Hospice for their loving care and compassion.

Friends may call Monday March 4th, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Tuesday March 5th, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the SHERMAN Funeral Home 2201 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 5th, 2024 at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Pastor Jamie Fowler officiating.

Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery next to her husband.
