To Colette and your family...
My condolences to all of you on Larry's passing.
My best memory of Larry was when he made a bus trip to Chicago and stayed with Nel and I and our family in Winthrop Harbor, Il, as he waited for the return trip back east.
He backed that big bus into our driveway and on the destination sign was "GOVERNOR'S STAFF".
As he told it, the construction workers along the road would genuflect whenever the bus came through!!!
Such a kind and gentle man!
I know that Nel cherished her childhood summertime stays with all of you at the farm...
sending our love from your Pittsburgh Polounus family,
Pat Devlin and family

Dear Collette and Family-
I am very sorry for your loss. Larry was a great man. When I heard he was not doing well I went to visit him at the Nursing home this summer. He remembered me, and I enjoyed seeing his smile again. He was smiling and talking about his family very proudly. His memory will live on through all of you. I know he has a special place in my heart as well.
