Mary Anne Rosa, 75, of Sharpsville, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on  August 17, 2013, 1:03 p.m., in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh PA.
  
Mary Anne was born on September 16, 1937 to Lewis Anthony and Theresa Antoinette (Garofoli) Rosa Sr. in Sharon, PA. She graduated from Sharpsville High School, Class of 1955. Mary Anne worked in the accounting and administration department of Sawhill until her retirement.  
Mary Anne was a lifelong member of St. Bartholomew’s Church in Sharpsville, PA. She loved family gatherings and spending time with family, she was an avid Cleveland Indians fan, enjoyed being in bowling leagues and was very involved in prayer lines at St. Bartholomew’s Church. She also enjoyed bus trips with her daughter especially to the casino and making scarves and rosaries for others.
  
Mary Anne is survived by her daughter - Theresa “Tressi” Louise (Daniel) Jones of Pittsburgh, PA; brothers- Lewis A. (Donna L.) Rosa II, Joseph A. (Kathy A.) Rosa, both of Sharpsville, PA; 2 nephews - Joseph A. Rosa Jr. and his companion Joana Mariotti, Lewis A. (Elizabeth) Rosa III; and niece April M. Rosa.
  
She was preceded in death by father, Lewis Anthony Rosa Sr., mother, Theresa Antoinette Rosa, and brother, Pasquale A. Rosa.
  
Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 21, 2013 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Stephen J. Sherman Funeral Home 2201 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA.
    
Funeral services will be held on Thursday August 22, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Bartholomew Church with Father Matthew J. Strickenberger of St. Bartholomew Church officiating and Father Glenn R. Whitman of St. Joseph’s church co-officiating.

Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

My life has been blessed more by knowing Mary Anne for quite a few years. Looking back and reflecting on good times spent with her and Tressi, brings joy to my heart - and a peaceful feeling knowing she is dancing with the angels in Heaven.
My heartfelt prayers go out to you Tress, Dan, and the rest of the family for PEACE, GRATITUDE and FOND MEMORIES.
