Robert Kolbrich, 93, of Transfer, passed away on Sunday February 24th, 2019 at John XXIII Nursing Home in Hermitage, PA.  
  
Robert was born on July 13th, 1925 to Nicholas and Anna (Guster) Kolbrich in Transfer, PA. He graduated from Transfer High School. After graduating, Robert served in the US Army. He worked as a core builder for Westinghouse Inc. until his retirement. He married his wife, the late Rose Ann (Riggs) Kolbrich, who preceded him in death.
  
He was a member of the Reynolds VFW post. Robert loved to hunt, garden, and play cards. He also enjoyed taking care of his home and will be affectionately remembered as a good father and grandfather.  
  
Robert is survived by his son, Robert D. (Roxann) Kolbrich of Hughesville, PA, daughter Judith L. (Jeffrey) Custer of Germantown, OH, son, Daniel L. (Pamela) Kolbrich of Transfer, PA; sister, Helen Gibson of Transfer, PA. Also surviving are many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  
  
He was preceded in death by father, Nicholas Kolbrich, mother, Anna Kolbrich, wife, Rose Ann Kolbrich, sister, Eva Siege Langties, brothers, Emerich Kolbrich, Nicholas Kolbrich, Jack Kolbrich, and Joe Kolbrich.
  
Friends may call Wednesday February 27th, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at SHERMAN Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 2201 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA.
    
Funeral services will be held on Thursday February 28th, 2019 at 11:00 am in the SHERMAN Funeral Home, Hermitage, PA.
  
Burial will take place in Americas Cemetery.
  
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the First Baptist Church of Transfer 50 Broad St. Transfer, PA 16154, in memory of Robert.
