Nicholas A. Schwanbeck, 51, of Mercer passed away peacefully on March 17th, 2021 in his home surrounded by family.
Nicholas was born December 11th, 1969 to Carol (Surrena) Dannels and Roy Schwanbeck in Grove City, PA. After high school, Nick served in the Army National Guard.  He worked for Eastern Foundations. Nicholas was known as a strong and caring guy. He loved football and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. He cared deeply for his family and friends who will miss him dearly.
He is survived by his parents, sister, Christina (Matt) Dora, nieces, Teanna (Andrew), Jessica (Braden), Katie, Ashley (Shawn), nephews, Calvin, and Matthew.
Nicholas was preceded in death by his sister, Bobbi Kay Schwanbeck.
Friends may call Friday March 19th, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at SHERMAN Funeral Home & Crematory 2201 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA 16148.
Final prayers and family remarks will take place at 6:00 pm in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the family in memory of Nicholas.
