Susan Ann Forte of Bonita Springs, Florida passed away on June 20, 2011 5:48 pm in Joanne’s Hospice House in Bonita Springs, FL, after a brief but hard fought battle with bladder cancer.  Susan was born on August 18, 1953 in Sharon, Pennsylvania as the fifth child to Alberta and Thomas Joyner.  Susan was preceded in death by both parents and a brother Donald, all of Sharon, PA.   She is survived by her husband Nicholas whom she married in 1997; four daughters: Katie Maikranz of Bonita Springs, FL, Jamie (Greg) Haase of Waterford, MI, Allison (Joe) Mack of Savannah, GA, and Ann (Will) Crossland of Birmingham, AL; six grandchildren: Jacob, Samuel, Maren, Gregory, Jack, and Connor: and three siblings: Nancy Joyner of Mentor, OH, Thomas (Dianne) Joyner of Lecanto, FL and Peggy (Jeff) McCann of Clark, PA.  She is also survived by two nephews: Don Joyner and Joe (Nina) Joyner, one great niece: Kaela; and sister in law: Judy Joyner.  She was a graduate of Sharpsville High School Class of 1971, and a member of Lamb of God Church in Estero, FL.
Susan was a woman of many facets and talents.  She loved spending time with her best girl friends, had boundless energy and loved going on cruises with her husband.  She collected and distributed 1500 toys for kids suffering from Hurricane Katrina and made countless trips from Florida to Pennsylvania to visit and help care for her assisted home bound Mother. Susan had a great compassion for her fellow man and limitless love of family, especially her grandchildren.  In fact she wanted to be remembered simply as Grandma.
Memorial services will be held in Florida and Ohio.  The family requests that any donations in her memory be made to Hope Hospice, 27200 Imperial Parkway, Bonita Springs, FL 34135 or the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 or online at www.cancer.org.

Just learning of Susie's (as I remember her) passing...we grew up togeher as childhood friends and neighbors. I remember her with fondness, dancing to the Supremes in Peggy's bedroom. I believe she is still dancing...in heaven.
So sorry to all her family for your loss.
Most sincerely,
Joyce (Rend) Webb
