Aubrey John Grose

Aubrey John Grose, 45, of Hermitage, PA passed away unexpectedly on December 29, 2021 in Pittsburgh, PA.  Aubrey was born in Charleston, WV on November 11, 1976 to Frank Grose and Anna (Piccirilli) Houlihan. 

Aubrey worked for 15 years with his friends at The Phoenix, The West Middlesex Diner, South Pymatuning Diner and PJ's Corner Cafe. He attended Penn State University.  He worked as a boat hand in Ft. Lauderdale Florida for 2 years.  He was a caretaker for his stepfather over the recent 10 years.

Aubrey loved fishing and the outdoors.  His love for life shined through with children.  He rescued many animals and had a special place in his heart for them.   Music was a passion of his that he enjoyed as well as cooking. 

He is survived by his parents; daughter, Alivia Grose; sister, Brianne Grose; stepfather, John Houlihan; grandfather, John Grose; half-brother, Justin Grose; stepbrothers, Brendan Houlihan and Kevin Houlihan; nephew, Maddox Chapman; niece, Milana Chapman.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lola & Victor Piccirilli; uncle, Ralph Piccirilli; grandmother, Barbara Grose; cousins, Jill, Paul & Stephanie O’Brien.

A memorial service will be held on Friday March 4, 2022 at 6:30pm in Grace Chapel Community Church, 4075 Lamor Rd, Hermitage. 

There will be coffee and desserts after.
