Bessie Marie (Nickel) Everett

Bessie Marie Everett, 92, of Greenville (formerly of Hermitage), passed away on Wednesday October 14th, 2015 at St. Paul’s Homes, Greenville, PA where she had been a resident for many years.  
  
Bessie was born on November 20th, 1922 to Leda B. and Bessie May (Hanlin) Nickel in Clark, PA, the 10th of 12 children. She graduated from Hickory High School. Bessie worked as a Loan Officer for the Citi Bank Group. In February 1949 she married the late Alfred  M. Everett, who passed away in February of 1958.
  
She was a member of Sharon Alliance Church. Her consuming passion was her Lord and his teachings.
  
Bessie is survived by her son - Stephen Everett of Roanoke, VA; 2 sisters - Margaret "Peg" Patton of Sharon, PA, Patricia McKnight of Sharpsville, PA; and many nieces and nephews.
  
She was preceded in death by father, Leda B. Nickel, mother, Bessie May Nickel, husband, Alfred M. Everett, 4 sisters, 5 brothers, and close friend Marion Chapman.
  
Friends may call Saturday, October 17th, 2015 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Stephen J. Sherman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 2201 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA.
    
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 17th, 2015, 11:00 am at Stephen J. Sherman Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Weikal, of Sharon Alliance Church, officiating.
  
Burial will take place in Americas Cemetery.
