Corie Lynn Bottenfield

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Corie Lynn "Dodo" Bottenfield, 44 , of Sharon who left us January 30th, 2026, at her residence. Corie was born May 16th, 1981 to Daniel Bottenfield Sr. and the late Deidre (Edwards) Bottenfield. 

On September 19th, 2009 she married the love of her life, Amy Lynn Cave who preceded her in death on August 6th, 2010. 

Corie worked at Imperial Systems Inc in Mercer for the past 4 years, quickly making her way to supervisor. 

Corie was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, with the exception of Penn State , and The Celtics. She could talk all day long about sports. She loved being at a game.

To know Corie is to know love, she enjoyed spending her time with her many dear friends and her family meant everything to her. Her greatest joy in this world was her niece and her nephews, she was happiest being their Dodo. 

Corie is survived by her dad, Daniel Sr. of Sharon, a brother,  Daniel Jr. of Sharpsville, sister in law, Ashley, 1 niece, Scarlett , 3 nephews, Colin, Arian of Pittsburgh and Henry, also surviving are many loving Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.  

Corie was preceded in death by her  wife, her mother, a brother, and her grandparents.  

Friends and family will visit at Grace Chapel Church, 4075 Lamor Road on Friday February 6th, 2026 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Funeral services will begin Friday February 6th, 2026 at 5:30 pm in the church.

Burial will take place at Westside Cemetery in Sharpsville, PA.
