Daniel L. Black

Daniel L. Black, 63, of Sharon passed away peacefully on February 23rd, 2025 in UPMC Farrell following a brief illness.

Daniel was born August 10th, 1961 to Judith A. (Jewell) and Lawrence G. Black in Grove City, PA. He worked for many years a Young Galvanizing Inc. as the shipping coordinator. Daniel was of the Baptist Faith. He was also a volunteer fireman for Jefferson Township, enjoyed watching local speedway racing, and was a Dallas Cowboys fan.

He is survived by his son, Luke Frederick Daniel Black and his companion Megan Lauer, mother, Judith A. (William) Redzinak, brother, Mark L. (Kathleen) Black, grandson, Bo Ronald Black, and step grandson, Mason Lauer.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence G. Black and brother, David Black.

Friends may call Thursday February 27th, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the SHERMAN Funeral Home & Crematory 2201 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA 16148.

Funeral services will be held Friday February 28th, 2025 at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Pastor Ken Woods officiating.
