Dean Robert Flowers

Dean Robert Flowers Jr., 91, of Hermitage passed away peacefully on January 30th, 2026.

Dean was born April 13th, 1934 to Helen (Cannon) and Dean Robert Flowers Sr. in Hermitage, PA. He was a 1952 graduate of Hickory High School and served in the United States Navy. On October 8th, 1960 he married his wife, Lois (Lurtz) Flowers, who passed away in 1995. His career was spent working with his father Dean Sr., brother Gerald, and nephews Gary and Gene at the family business, Flowers Radio & TV. 

Dean was known for his smile, reassuring demeanor, and devotion to his family.  He had the ability to fix anything with a calm and logical approach. He loved when his home was overflowing with family, riding on his John Deere tractor, and solving number puzzles. He will be remembered for his kind nature and never taking a bad picture.

Dean is survived by his daughter, Karen Flowers (Mark Faldowski) of Mantua, OH, and sons Dale Flowers (Michele Fuller) of San Jose, CA and Keith Flowers (Allison Flowers) of Grove City, PA. His grandchildren include Natasha, Nikolai, Lindsey, Morgan, Lydia, and Elana, who Dean adored.

He is preceded in death by his wife Lois Flowers, brother Gerald Flowers, and sisters Norma (Flowers) Miller and Ruth Flowers.

Friends may call Friday, February 6th, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the SHERMAN Funeral Home 2201 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA.

Funeral services will begin Friday, February 6th, 2026 at 3:00 pm in the funeral home.

A private burial will take place at Morefield Cemetery, next to his wife.
