Donald Longnaker Obituary
Donald L. Longnaker of Hermitage, passed away May 11th, 2021 in West Penn Hospital Pittsburgh, PA.
Donald was born December 24th, 1948 to Beatrice M. (McElhattan) and Donald M. Longnaker in Oil City, PA. He was a 1968 graduate of Erie Academy High School. After graduating, Donald served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He served two tours before being honorably discharged of service. He worked as a chef for many years, in landscaping, and for the former Old Express Restaurant. Donald was a skilled woodworker and gardener. He was always proud of his vegetables and flowers.
He is survived by his sisters, Jayne Polonsky of Sharon and Lynda (Darrell) Danilovics of Sharon. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents.
Per his wish, private services will be held.
Interment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
