Donna Wright Obituary
Donna G. Wright, 85, of Sharpsville, formerly of Sugar Grove, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.
Donna was born May 2, 1931 in Punxsutawney to her parents, Michael Becker and Grace Law. She was a graduate of Jamestown High School. Her husband, David Wright, whom she married in 1964, passed away August 10, 1996.
She loved to read, listen to music and spend time with her kids and grandchildren. She enjoyed watching “Jeopardy” and “Wheel of Fortune” and working on jigsaw puzzles. She was the proud owner and operator of the Beef Barn Restaurant in Busti, New York for over 15 years, where she sang karaoke every Friday night.
She was an active member of the Sharpsville Presbyterian Church, as well as the Keystone Blind Association and West Hill Ministries. She was woman ahead of her time, with a kind heart, brilliant mind and a fiery spirit. She loved life and she touched the lives of everyone she met.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband and her brother, Clifford Becker and her daughter Kathleen Mandala.
She is survived by her sons: Michael Becker of Mira Loma, California and David K. Wright and wife, Tove, of Sharpsville. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Trisha Davidson of California, Nikita Wright and Trand Wright of Sharpsville and her great-grandchild, Kathryn Davidson. Also surviving are her sister, Leotta Tack of Florida and her brother, Russell Becker and wife, Linda, of Tennessee.
Donna was the life of every party and brought so much joy to the lives of her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
