Giovanna (Iaboni) Bartolomucci

Giovanna Bartolomucci, 84, of Sharpsville, passed away on Thursday February 7th, 2019 at Sharon Regional Hospital in Sharon, PA.

Giovanna was born on December 17th, 1934 to Armando Iaboni and Inelda Fiola in Terracina, Italy. Giovanna was a homemaker and and during the 1960’s owned and operated Nina’s Pizza in Sharon PA. On September 17th, 1956 she married her husband, the late Vincent Bartolomucci who passed away June 8th, 2000.

She was a lifelong member of St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church where she volunteered in many church events and was also a member of the St. Olivia Society. Giovanna was an excellent cook and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Giovanna is survived by her sons, Dino (Carol) Bartolomucci of Coraopolis, PA, Robert Bartolomucci of Poland, OH, Anthony (Shelly) Bartolomucci of Sharpsville, PA, grandchildren, Danielle Marie Bartolomucci, Dina Marie Jones, Michael Vincent Bartolomucci, Robert John Bartolomucci II, great grandchildren, Giovanna and Mycal. Also surviving is her brother, Anthony Iaboni of Italy.

She was preceded in death by father, Armando Iaboni, mother, Inelda Fiola, husband, Vincent Bartolomucci, brother, Lorenzo Iaboni, and grandson, Peter Vincent Bartolomucci.

Friends may call Sunday, February 10th, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm & 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at SHERMAN Funeral Home 2201 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA.
    
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 11th, 2019 at 10:30 am in St. Bartholomew R.C. Church, with Father Matthew Strickenberger, officiating. Friends are welcome to meet directly at church.

Entombment will take place in St. Rose Cemetery Hermitage, PA.
