Harriet J. (Gearhart) Porreca

Harriet J. Porreca, 88 formerly of Sharpsville, Mineral Ridge, OH passed away peacefully on May 13th, 2025 in Continuing Healthcare.

Harriet was born November 3rd, 1936 to Osee (Auchter) and Daniel Gearhart in Pulaski, PA. She was a graduate of Greenville High School class of 1954. Harriet was affectionately known as a homemaker. On October 3rd, 1959 she married her husband the late, Paul Porreca Sr.

She was a former member of St. Bartholomew R.C. Church. She was also a member of the Sharpsville American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Harriet enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, and traveling.

Harriet is survived by her children, Paul Porreca Jr. of Sharon, Guy Porreca of Sharon, Stacey (Eric) Crain of Cortland, OH, grandchildren, William, Nicholas, Zachary, Robert, Jacob, Alan Porreca, Darren, Auxier, and Melinda Auxier-Sleppy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Paul, daughters in law, Lydia Marie Porreca, Amy Porreca, granddaughter, Amanda Porreca, sisters, Nancy Gurtner, Becky Smith, and Jean Dutiel.

Per her wish, services will be held privately.

The family would like to thank the staff of Suites at the Ridge for their excellent care and compassion.

Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery next to her husband.
