JT (John Thomas Palovsky

JT (John Thomas) Palovsky, 38, of Sharpsville passed away peacefully on March 30th, 2024 in his home with his family at his side following a brief illness.

JT was born May 14th, 1985 to Lori Ann (Bishop) and John Charles Palovsky in Greensburg, PA. He was a 2003 graduate of Sharpsville High School. JT attended Hocking Hills College Fire Service Program. He proudly served his community in numerous ways. His greatest love was being a firefighter for the City of Farrell and South Pymatuning Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the IAFF Local 417 Firefighters Union. JT enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family and friends. He loved to make people laugh and was always willing to help someone in need.

He is survived by his parents Lori and John, sister, Megan (Josh) England of Aliquippa, PA, niece, Alice and nephew, Freddie, grandfather, Budd Bishop of Hermitage, grandmother, Shirley Palovsky of North Huntingdon, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

JT was preceded in death by his grandparents, William F. Palovsky, Nancy L. Bishop, and his great grandparents.

Friends may call Wednesday April 3rd, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the SHERMAN Funeral Home 2201 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA 16148. The Farrell Fire Department will offer a memorial service at 8:15 pm in the funeral home. 

Funeral Services will be held Thursday April 4th, 2024 at 11:00 am in the SHERMAN Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Burchill officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Chelsea Rowe Rescue Fund, in care of Farrell Fire Department 500 Roemer Blvd. Farrell, PA 16121.

Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery.
