James “Jimmy” F. Freeble, 76, of Sharpsville, PA, passed away peacefully on May 15th, 2024 at his camp on Lake Erie in Lake City, PA.
He was born on August 29th, 1947, in Sharon, PA to June (Joyner) and James P. Freeble.
Jimmy was a 1965 graduate of Farrell high school. Soon after graduation, he began employment at Sharon Steel Corporation. He remained with the company through its many changes and ultimately retired from what is now NMLK.
He was a member of the American Legion in Sharpsville and Girard, PA as well as the Sharpsville VFW. Jimmy was a life ling fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was also an avid sportsman who loved fishing and hunting. He enjoyed and spent most of his time at Lake Erie, Pymatuning, and the mountains.
James is survived by his sisters, Judy Beard of Hermitage, Paula Draskovic of Stuart, FL, his long time companion Fern Sadowski-McFarland of Transfer, several cousins, and his many life-long hunting and fishing buddies.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and former wife, Mary Beth McLaughlin.
Per his wishes no services will be held.
