Janet Eileen DeWeese, 86 of Hermitage passed away peacefully on March 22nd, 2025 in Cortland Healthcare Center Cortland, OH.
Janet was born July 12th, 1938 to Aletha (Brower) and Paul Cameron in Greenville, PA. She was a graduate of Commodore Perry High School. On June 23rd, 1961 Janet married her husband, the late Frederick P. DeWeese who passed away March 7th, 2016. She worked as a nurse aide, and drove a school bus for Garretts.
She loved playing bingo, creating ceramics, playing cards in her card club, decorating, and watching wildlife around her home, especially the deer.
Janet is survived by her daughters, Judy (Anthony) Pache, Suzanne (Mike) Vasil, son, Robert (Stephanie) DeWeese, sister-in-law, Patricia Cameron, grandchildren, Eric Pache, Alyssa Vasil, and Emma DeWeese.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Frederick, sister, Phyllis Isham, and brother Gordon Cameron.
Friends may call Friday March 28th, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the Hubbard Church of the Nazarene 1815 Cherry Lane Dr. Hubbard, OH.
Funeral services will be held Friday March 28th, 2025 at 11:00 am in the church with Sr. Pastor Michael Byus officiating.
Burial will take place in Mt. Washington Cemetery next to her husband.
