Janet Ann Goodrick, 91, of Sharpsville passed away peacefully on Monday, November 25th, 2024 in St. John XXIII Nursing Home.
Janet was born February 4th, 1933 to Katherine (Morrisey) and Jerome Mack in Sharon, PA. She was a Sharpsville High School graduate and a homemaker, who loved and was loved by her family dearly. On October 1st, 1955, she married her husband, the late Robert James Goodrick, who passed away November 9th, 2023.
She was a member of St. Bartholomew R.C. Church in Sharpsville and sang in the church choir. Janet was always active in her children’s activities. She volunteered for the school PTA, followed their sports, and worked events as a member of the boosters. She enjoyed following local sports teams.
Janet is survived by her daughters, Patty (Mike Barcus) Sieber of Cabin John, MD; Peggy Raymond of Pittsburgh, PA; sons, Tom (Victoria) Goodrick of Darien, CT; Jerry (Lisa) Goodrick of Pittsburgh, PA; and Bob (Janeen) Goodrick of Pittsburgh, PA; sister, Joan Wickerham; niece, Kathy Wickerham; 14 grandchildren, Danielle (Dan), Dave, Jennifer (Tim), John, Riley, Adam (Sarah), Kelly (Jose), Sean (JilliAn), Amie, Hannah (Mike), Patrick, Audrey, Michelle, Grant; and one great grandchild, Oliver Verano.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Katherine and Jerome Mack; husband, Robert James Goodrick; son, Danny Goodrick; son in-law, Michael Raymond; brother in-law, Alan Wickerham; and infant brother, Michael Mack.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the ARC of Mercer County Foundation at 850 North Hermitage Rd. Hermitage, PA 16148.
Friends may call Friday November 29th, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the SHERMAN Funeral Home 2201 Highland Road Hermitage, PA.
Mass of a Christian burial will be held Saturday November 30th, 2024 at 9:30 am in St. Bartholomew R.C. Church 311 W. Ridge Ave. Sharpsville, PA with Father John Miller officiating. Friends are welcome to meet directly at the church.
Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
