John Cornell Sulick, 82, of Sharon, passed away on Friday February 5th, 2016 at Sharon Regional Health System in Sharon, PA.
John was born on July 9th, 1933 to Stephen and Anna (Smee) Sulick in Punxsutawney, PA. He graduated from Rossiter High School. He was a veteran who served in the U.S. Army. John worked for Westinghouse Inc. for 16 years and as a Coil Winder for Control Transformer in Cortland, OH for 10 years, until his retirement in 1998. On May 11th, 1957 he married his wife Lillian F. Molnar, who survives at home.
He was an active member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church for 40 years. John enjoyed golfing and was an avid sports fan.
John is survived by his wife Lillian, daughter - Marie A. Sulick of Sharon, PA; 3 sons - Michael J. Sulick and his companion Roxanne Pace of Titusville, FL, William A. (Maria E.) Sulick of Melbourne, FL, Joseph G. (Holly L.) Sulick of Sharon, PA; sister - Josephine (Jim) Herrmann of Sharpsville, PA; Grandchildren - Angela Sulick, Charles Sulick, Spencer Ashley Sulick, Luke Mazzocchi, and Anna Mazzocchi.
He was preceded in death by father, Stephen Sulick, mother, Anna Sulick, sister, Helen Oship, brother - William Sulick; and brother, Steven Sulick.
Parastas prayer service will be held on Sunday February 7th, 2016 at 1:30 pm in Stephen J. Sherman Funeral Home.
Friends may call Sunday, February 7th, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Stephen J. Sherman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 2201 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA.
Panachida prayer service will take place Monday February 8th, 2016 at 10 am in the funeral home.
Mass of Divine Liturgy will be held on Monday, February 8th, 2016, 10:30 am at St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, with Father Kevin Marks, officiating.
Burial will take place in the St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Cemetery.
