Justin Gerasimek Obituary
Justin John Gerasimek, 25, of Sharpsville, PA passed away on Monday May 6th, 2019.
Justin was born on March 18th, 1994 in Greenville, PA to Karl R. and Paulla (Royal) Gerasimek. He was a 2012 graduate of Sharpsville High School. After high school, Justin earned his associate’s degree from Clarion University. He had just completed his 5-year apprenticeship with the IBEW local 29. Justin worked as an overhead lineman for Duquesne Light.
He attended Lakeside Evangelical Church in transfer, PA. Justin loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed working with his hands. Very smart, Justin would learn and use new skills quickly. He and his brother volunteered on a mission trip to Mexico in 2016. He had been preparing for his future home with his girlfriend Kelly Matejka, whom he planned to marry. Justin will be missed by his family, friends, co-workers, and all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents Karl and Paulla Gerasimek of Sharpsville, PA, twin brother, Jarred R. Gerasimek of Sharpsville, PA, grandparents, Leo (Janet) Gerasimek of Sharpsville, PA, John Royal of Adamsville, PA, aunts and uncles, Terry (Analynn) Royal of Centersville, PA, and Donna (Tom) Carpenter of Hermitage, PA.
Friends may call Thursday May 9th, 2019 from 4 pm to 7 pm at SHERMAN Funeral Home & Cremation service 2201 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA 16148.
Funeral services will be held Friday May 10th, 2019 at 11:00 am in Lakeside Evangelical Church Transfer, PA 16154 with Pastor Robert S. Mavis, officiating. Friends are welcome to meet directly at church.
Burial will take place in Westside Cemetery.
