Katherine "Jane" (Antus) Crissman

Katherine "Jane" Crissman, 88, of Hermitage, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 31st, 2024 with her family by her side.

Katherine (Jane to her friends and family) was born October 20th, 1935 to Katherine (Cline) and Michael Antus in Sharon, PA. She was a graduate of Hickory High School.  On July 30th, 1954 she married the love of her life, her husband, the late Paul R. Crissman who passed away May 12th, 2006. They spent over 50 wonderful years together.  

Jane operated her own beauty/ hair salon for 30 years.  She assisted her husband Paul in establishing Carbide Tool Maintenance.  She enjoyed watching birds and other wildlife, from the wooded area surrounding her home,

Jane is survived by her son, Dale (Barbara) Crissman of Masury, OH, grandchildren, Elizabeth (Robert) McGoff, Justin (Desiree) Crissman, Jacob (Kayleigh) Crissman, great grandchildren, Isabella McGoff, Gabriella McGoff, Ruby Crissman, and Mirabella McGoff. Also surviving are her sisters, Dolores Carroll, Eileen (Kenneth) Zagger, and brother, Richard (Sandy) Antus. Sister in law Lois Adams.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul, sisters, Joann Miller, Pat Dzurinda, Marlene Sherman, and brother, Tyrone Antus.  

Friends may call Friday February 9th, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the SHERMAN Funeral Home & Crematory 2201 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA.

Funeral services will be held Saturday February 10th, 2024 at 10:00 am in Christ Lutheran Church 396 Buhl Blvd. Sharon, PA with Rev. Dennis Blauser, officiating.
