Kathryn Asafaylo

Kathryn Asafaylo, 99 of Hermitage passed away peacefully on Saturday June 20th, 2026 in The Ridgewood Hermitage, PA.

Kathryn was born December 27th, 1926 to Stella (Rubel) and Michael Asafaylo in Farrell, PA. She graduated from Farrell High School class of 1945. Kathryn worked over 37 years for Westinghouse Electric in Sharon until her retirement. She was a lifelong member of St. Michaels Byzantine Catholic Church. In her younger years she enjoyed bowling and playing cards with her sisters. She also enjoyed occasionally traveling.

She is survived by her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Anne Gracenin, Mary Asafaylo, brothers, Charles, Nickolas, Steve, Paul, Frank, Michael, and John Asafaylo.

Per her wish, private services will be held.

Burial will take place next to her family in St. Michaels Cemetery.

Her family would like to thank the dedicated staff at The Ridgewood and Gentiva Hospice for their care and compassion.
