Kathryn Sanders Obituary
Kathryn M. (Grandy) Sanders, 68, of Inglewood, California, passed away on Monday March 28th, 2016.
Kathy was born in Sharon, PA on July 16th, 1947 to Edward D. and Norene L. Grandy. She was a graduate of Sharpsville High School class of 1965. Kathy went on to Nursing School and became an LPN. She worked at the former St. John’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
She was the loving mother of Angelo M. (Johnnetta) Sanders II and the grandmother of Justice N. and Angelo M. Sanders III. Kathy was also sister to Joseph Grandy, Sarah (Mike) Patterson, Judy Snyder, Charlotte (Bob) O’Toole, and Laurie (Nick) Fusco. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, brother Edward R. “Jobber” Grandy, and former husband Angelo M. Sanders.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Pittsburgh, PA.
