Larry Lee Rowe, 71, of Hermitage, passed away following a year and a half battle with cancer on February 13th, 2016, in his home surrounded by family.
Larry was born on March 27th, 1944 to Thomas and Bertha (Shaffer) Rowe in Sharon, PA. Larry worked for DeFirko steel, Mercer Vo-Tech, and 40 years as a Roll Grinder for Sharon Steel. On August 26th, 1967 he married his wife Gloria Clark who survives at home.
He liked camping, golfing, 4 wheeling, hunting, fishing, working in his garage, and prospecting. In his earlier years, he raced cars and competed in mini modified tractor pulls. Most important to Larry was spending time with his family.
Larry is survived by his loving wife Gloria, daughters Melissa Keeley and her husband Josiah of Farrell; Lisa Maxwell and her husband Jamie of Sharpsville; son, Gary Rowe and his wife Gloria of Sharpsville; sister, June Holmes of North East, PA; brother, Walter Rowe of MS; 3 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, and 7 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by father, Thomas Rowe, mother, Bertha Rowe, sisters, Violet Janoski, Ruth Larimer, Dorothy Jean Rowe, brothers, Thomas Rowe and Robert Rowe.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 16th, 2016, at 6:00 pm in the Stephen J. Sherman Funeral Home, Hermitage, PA.
