Lewis E. Sickafus

Lewis E. Sickafus, 70, formerly of Sharpsville, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 17th, 2018 in Nugent Convalescent Home.
Lewis was born June 16th, 1947 to Dale R. and Marian L. (Addicott) Sickafus in Sharon, PA. After graduating from high school, Lewis continued his education and earned his bachelor’s degree in teaching. He was of Methodist Faith and a former Methodist Minister. Lewis was a member of the Sharon American Legion and a local pool league. He loved to cook, play bingo, listen to music, and spend time outdoors. Most important to him was spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.  
Surviving are 2 daughters, Laurie (Steve) Dwyer of Sharpsville, PA, Jennifer (Joshua) Manning of Sharpsville, sister, Carol (Bob) Zuhosky of Sharpsville, PA, 6 grandchildren, Brennan Manning, Isabella Manning, Madison Manning, Abigail Sickafus, Riley Dwyer, Francesca Dwyer, also his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Alan Sickafus.
Friends may call Tuesday May 22nd, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at SHERMAN Funeral Home & Cremation Service 2201 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday May 22nd, 2018 at 6:00 pm in the funeral home with Rev. Joseph Yurko, officiating.
Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery.
