Lillian Kobialko Obituary

Lillian A. Kobialko “Aunt Lil”, 96, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2020 at Manor Care of Boca Raton, in Florida.  
Lillian was born on February 1, 1924 to Frank and Mary (Segaty) Papay in Sharon, PA. Lillian worked for Westinghouse Inc. and Dean Dairy, but most importantly she dedicated her life to caring for numerous children throughout the Shenango Valley. On August 20, 1949 she married the love of her life Thaddeus J. “Ted” Kobialko.  They settled into their first home in Masury, Ohio and later built a home in Brookfield, Ohio where they spent many happy years together until Ted’s passing on October 3, 1993.
She was a longtime member of the former Bethlehem Presbyterian Church in Sharon, PA where she served as an Elder, a member of the Golden Circle and spent many, many hours cooking in the kitchen for numerous events over the years.  She also served as President of the Women’s Guild.  
Lillian is survived by her son, Thaddeus “Ted” J. Kobialko, Jr, daughter in law, Jackie Kobialko and step-grandson Joshua, all of Oakland Park, FL; sisters, Eleanor O’Hara of Sharpsville and Irene Timlin of Sharon, PA, also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Papay, mother, Mary Papay, husband, Ted Kobialko, brothers, Louie Kaldy, Zoltan Kaldy, Frank, Ernest, Albert, and Joe Papay who was her twin brother. Sisters, Margaret Sewinsky, Violet Rock, and a nephew Frank Papay.  
Due to the current pandemic, a private family service will be held. However, the family will be receiving visitors at the family home (894 Valley View Drive, Brookfield), from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday.    
Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery next to her husband.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her name to either St. Judes Hospital, Zem Zem Shrine of Erie, PA for benefit of Shriner’s Hospital or any other children’s organization that is close to your heart.
