Lucy A. Mallick, 93 of Sharpsville passed away peacefully on September 13th, 2025 in her home.
Lucy was born March 15th, 1932 to Domenica (DeJulia) and Antonio Pagliaroli in Sharpsville, PA. She was a graduate of Sharpsville High School class of 1950 and had attended courses at Penn State Shenango in Sharon. On April 12th, 1975 she married her husband, the late Charles “Bill” Mallick who passed away March 11th, 2001.
She was a longtime member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church in Hermitage where she actively helped with catering and singing in the choir. Lucy was a member of GCU Lodge and loved flower gardening. Known to her family as Dr. Lu, she was always available when someone was not feeling well. Lucy loved treating her family to dinner and caring for them. Strong willed and independent, her priorities were “Family, Her Church, and the Pittsburgh Steelers”.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Laurie (Jim) Prosenjak, Mark (Rosie) Doblanski, Teresa Benson, Anthony Pagliaroli and several great nieces, nephews, great great nieces and nephews who she adored.
Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles Bill Mallick, sisters, Olive Rand, Bertha Pagliaroli, Anne Doblanski, Angela Dzuricsko, and brother, Rocco Pagliaroli.
Friends may call Thursday September 18th, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church 2230 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA.
Funeral Divine Liturgy will be held Thursday September 18th, 2025 at 11:00 am in the church with Very Rev. Kevin E. Marks officiating.
Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Michael Byzantine Church Memorial Fund, in memory of Lucy.
Burial will take place in St. Michael Byzantine Cemetery next to her husband.
