Margaret Ulan Obituary
Margaret Ulan, 87, of Hermitage passed away peacefully on Sunday August 26th, 2018 after an extended illness, with her family by her side.
Margaret was born on March 3rd, 1931 in Wheatland, PA to William and Mary (Varcholik) Baker. She attended Farrell High School. On June 19th, 1948 she married her husband, the late, Joseph Ulan who passed away January 17th, 2017. They shared 68 years of marriage together.
For 10 years she worked in the bakery department at Riverside Market in Hermitage. She loved baking cakes and decorating them for her family. She enjoyed traveling to their camp in the mountains and also liked to read.
She is survived by her son Kenneth (Carol) Ulan Sr. of Farrell, daughter, Christine (Ron) Hudack of Fowler, OH, brother, William Baker of West Middlesex, and sister, Ginger (David) Sackett of Sharpsville. Margaret is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Amy Anderson, Natalie Pekney, Vanessa EK, Candice McCarthy, Ken Ulan Jr., Carrie Greimann, Justin Ulan, Joey Hudack, and 8 great grandchildren.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son Daniel Ulan, daughters Paula Marshall, and Victoria Lynn Ulan.
Her family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to Sharon Regional Hospice for taking wonderful care of their mother and father.

Funeral Mass will be held Thursday August 30th, 2018 at 11:00 am in St. John’s Episcopal Church 226 W. State St. Sharon, PA with Father Adam Trambley, officiating. Friends are welcome to meet directly at church.
Burial will take place in St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Cemetery Hermitage, PA.
