Margaret "Marge" (Patrick) McCullough

Margaret “Marge” McCullough of Hermitage, passed away on July 16th, 2025 in New Wilmington, PA.

Marge was born July 9th, 1934, the 11th child of Alphonso and Margaret (Cerimele) Patrick in Youngstown, OH. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Youngstown, OH. Marge worked several secretarial jobs over the years.

She was a member of St. Bartholomew R.C. Church for over 40 years where she was active in St. Josephs Women’s Guild, Eucharistic Minister, Good Samaritan dinners, and RCIA. Marge was also a member of the Hermitage Women’s Club for over 30 years, the Hermitage Libraries, and volunteered for her children’s activities. She enjoyed camping, playing cards, and bus trips to casinos with friends. She loved spoiling all of her grandpugs, particularly the latest named Mackie. 

Marge enjoyed cooking and baking and was always willing to share her food, especially to those in need. She always had a big smile for all those she knew.

She is survived by her children, Dr. Karen McCullough, Kevin McCullough, grandson Kyle McCullough, and several Godchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband of 58 years Roland “Mac” McCullough, who passed away September 27th, 2018, brothers, Alphonso Patrick Jr., Sonny “Al”, Anthony, John, and Johnny, sisters Dianne, Lucille, Rose, Merceda, Florence, Mary, and Jenny.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Friends may call Monday July 21st, 2025 from 11:00 am to 12:00 am at St. Bartholomew R.C. Church 311 W Ridge Ave, Sharpsville, PA 16150.

Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday July 21st, 2025 at 12:00 pm in St. Bartholomew R.C. Church with Father Miller officiating.

The family would like to thank the priest and the good friends who were around to share memories with them.
