Marsha Kurtanich Obituary
Marsha Kurtanich, 53, of Sharpsville, passed away on Saturday February 4th, 2017 at her home in Sharpsville, PA.
Marsha was born on May 3rd, 1963 to Michael and Dolores (Darich) Kurtanich in Mercer, PA. She was a 1982 graduate of Hickory High School and was a dedicated employee to local businesses in the area.
She was a longtime member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church in Hermitage, PA. Marsha enjoyed spending time with her family and furry pawed friends Sheba and Queen. She also enjoyed long walks in the park and spending time outdoors watching the animals roam. Besides her love of family, she loved to watch classic movies and listen sing her Opera melodies.
Marsha is survived by her loving parents Michael and Dolores Kurtanich of Sharpsville, PA, sisters, Shirley (Ed) Swarts of Hutto, TX, Paula Wynn of Tampa, FL, Mary (Rick) Hawley of Louisville, OH, brothers, Richard Kurtanich of Hubbard, OH, and her twin brother, Mark Kurtanich of Greenville, SC.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Kurtanich Jr.
Parastas pray service will begin at 3:30 pm in the funeral home.
Friends may call Wednesday, February 8th, 2017, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Stephen J. Sherman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 2201 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA.
Panachida prayer service will be offered at 9:30 am in the funeral home before funeral divine liturgy.
Funeral Divine Liturgy will be held on Thursday, February 9th, 2017, 10:00 am at St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church Hermitage, PA, with Father Kevin Marks, officiating.
Burial will take place in St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Cemetery.
