Martha Frantz Obituary
Martha Jane (Davis) Frantz, 94, formerly of Masury, OH, passed away peacefully on September 14th, 2018 at Nugent Convalescent Home Hermitage, PA.
Martha was born on December 18th, 1923 to Ulric and Cynthia Maybelle (Dalton) Davis in Chimney Rock, NC. On August 10th, 1952 she married her husband, the late Ervin E. Frantz, who passed away March 19th, 2011. She was a member of New Fellowship Baptist Church and loved flower gardening. Martha also enjoyed capturing family memories in photographs.
Martha is survived by her daughters, Mariam Rigby of Farrell, Maybelle Thomas of Sharon, and a sister Irene Huntley. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sons, Ervin E. Frantz Jr., Eugene Frantz, and 8 brothers and sisters.
Friends may call Saturday September 22nd, 2018 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at SHERMAN Funeral Home & Cremation Service 2201 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 22nd, 2018 at 10:00 am in SHERMAN Funeral Home with Martha’s grandson, Pastor Philip Thomas, officiating.
Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery.
