Mary Joseph Obituary
Mary Louise Joseph, of Sharpsville, passed away peacefully on October 9th, 2018 in Sharon Regional Hospital Sharon, PA.
Mary was born October 18th, 1927 in Sharpsville to Rocco and Anna (Pagliaroli) Bonaquist. She was a graduate of Sharpsville High School class of 1945. Mary worked for the G C Murphy Company in Sharon and was a homemaker. On June 28th, 1955 she married her husband, the late Leo Dennis Joseph, who passed away March 18th, 2008.
She was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Sharpsville, a member of the Wednesday Morning Coffee Club Bowling League at Hickory Bowling Lanes and a member of the Women’s Homemakers Club. She enjoyed crocheting and was known for her excellent homemade noodles.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Denise (Michael) Monaco of Rochester, NY, Lori Sarchet and Keith Haun of Sharpsville, sons, Mark Joseph and Kathy Gill of Sharpsville, Leo Joseph of Sharpsville, sister, Carolyn Castiglione of Greenville, grandchildren, Leanne Monaco, Michael Monaco, Jeffrey Monaco, Bradley (Jennifer) Sarchet, Matthew Sarchet, Christopher Joseph, Jessica Clark, Ryan Joseph, Hannah Joseph, and Michelle Joseph. Also surviving are great grandchildren, Marleina Monaco, Geanna Hargrave, Evan Hargrave, Kyla Hargrave, Mia Sarchet, and Austin Benson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leo Dennis Joseph, and great granddaughter, Julia Isabella Sarchet.
Friends may call Friday October 12th, 2018 from 5 pm to 8 pm in the SHERMAN Funeral Home & Cremation Service 2201 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA 16148.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday October 13th, 2018 at 10:30 am in St. Bartholomew Catholic Church with Father Matthew Strickenberger, officiating. Friends are welcome to meet directly at church.
Burial will take place in St. Marys Cemetery.
