Mary Patricia Rust, 66, of Masury, passed away peacefully at home on Friday February 24th, 2017 in Masury, OH.
Mary was born on April 9th, 1950 to Ivan G. and Pauline (Siwiecki) Ference in Sharon, PA. She graduated from Kennedy Catholic High School class of 1968. Mary worked 46 years as a manager for Retail Grocery Services. On October 14th, 1972, she married her husband Clarence E. Rust, who survives at home.
She was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sharon, PA. Mary enjoyed scrapbooking, making cards for friends and family, bowling, golfing, sightseeing, and traveling with her family.
Mary is survived by her husband Clarence, daughter, Jacquelyn M. (Brett) Brunkenhoefer of Liberty, OH, son Paul M. Rust of Brookfield, OH, mother, Pauline Ference of Sharon, sisters, Elizabeth Green of Hermitage, PA, Christine (Scott) Niehaus of Pittsburgh, PA, Robert (Frances) Ference of Hermitage, PA, Jeffrey (Anita) Ference of Blacklick, OH, Gregory (Annette) Ference of DuBois, WA, Edward Ference and his companion Chris Meriam of Seattle, WA, Dennis (Adele) Ference of Charlotte, NC, Jack (Eileen) Ference of Sharon, PA. Also surviving is her Husky granddog Touzzer.
She was preceded in death by father, Ivan G. Ference and brother Timothy Ference.
Friends may call Tuesday, February 28th, 2017, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Stephen J. Sherman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 2201 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA.
A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, March 1st, 2017, 1:30 pm at Sacred Heart Church in Sharon, PA with Father Henry C. Andrae, officiating. Friends are welcome to meet directly at church.
Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
