Mildred Ann “Nan” Bucher

Mildred Bucher died on June 13, 2024. Nan as we all called her, was the last of her generation in our family. She was the Matriarch of the whole group of Bucher’s, Dilley’s, DeNoi’s, Henning’s and a lot of others.  Nan was 99 years old, a long, long, life for someone that was a sickly person for all her days.

Dale Bucher (a nephew) and his wife Marie have been wonderful care givers to Mildred for many years. May God Bless them and keep them.

Nan was an interesting person.  She never married and was a dental assistant for many years. She loved her family, and all her nieces and nephews loved her. She outlived her siblings Donald and Marilyn. Her nephews thought she would outlive them.

Nan was born in Ohio to Harrison and Mable Bucher. In the early 1940’s the family moved to Sharpsville; PA. Nan lived with her parents until their deaths. Harrison and Mabel were very dedicated to their daughter and loved and cared for her through her many bouts of mental illness and depression.

She was a graduate of Sharpsville High School and a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church, Sharpsville, PA. She loved the Lord God and participated in many church activities. Nan was cared for by her entire family and will be missed by her remaining nephews and nieces. May Jesus welcome her home.

Friends may gather for a graveside prayer service which will begin Thursday June 20th, 2024 at 10:00 am in Hillcrest Cemetery Hermitage, PA.
