Norma Jean (Mohr) Wilson Small passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 20th, 2019 in Garden Way Hermitage, PA.
Norma was born January 9th, 1927 to Jake and Lucille (Hasenplug) Mohr in Greenville, PA. She graduated from Penn High School in Greenville, PA. After high school she worked for Westinghouse Inc. during World War II. Norma also worked for Greenville Hospital, Five points Nursing Home, and Clepper Manor as a Practical Nurse until her retirement in 1998. She married her first husband, the late, Edward A. Wilson in 1947 who preceded her in death. In 1998 she married her second husband Donald Small, he also preceded her in death.
She was a lifelong member of Sharpsville First United Methodist Church, where she served communion for over 50 years, and Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 242. She was Garden Way's Resident Ambassador
She is survived by her 5 children, Edward A. (Mona) Wilson, Wayne Wilson, Terry (Debbie) Wilson, Connie (Skip) Snyder, Beverly Moderelli, 11 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Also surviving are 3 sisters, Donna Woods, Phyllis Thompson, Weezie McKalip, and brother, Bill Mohr. Best friends Jim and Louise Elsey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edward A. Wilson, husband, Donald Small, sister Betty Miller, brother Art Mohr, and brother Bob Mohr.
Memorials may be sent to; Sharpsville First United Methodist Church in memory of Norma.
Friends may call Saturday February 23rd, 2019 from 10 am to 12 pm in Sharpsville First United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Saturday February 23rd, 2019 at 12 pm in the Sharpsville First United Methodist Church.
Burial will take place in Americas Cemetery.
