Patricia Stahl Obituary
Patricia M. Stahl, 94, of Hermitage, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 21, 2017, at Nugent Convalescent Home.
Patricia was born Aug. 23rd, 1923 to Patrick J. and Nell (Kearney) Thompson in Youngstown, OH. She graduated from the former South High School, class of 1941, and later graduated from Youngstown Business School.
On Sept. 7, 1946, she was married to Robert S. Stahl who expired on March 19, 1980.
She was a member of St. Bartholomew’s Church and was active in the Altar & Rosary Society. Pat taught in the CCD program from 1964 through 1969. She also attended the First Methodist Church in Sharpsville. She was proud to be a first-generation American.
After the death of her husband, Pat worked as a Medical Transcriptionist at Sharon Regional Health System from 1980 through 1990.
She taught at St. Bart’s Pre-School from 1999 through 2005.
Affectionately labeled Munga by her grandchildren, she was outgoing. She touched the hearts of many people.
Munga is survived by her loving children, daughter Tish Hosick of Sharpsville and son Bob Stahl of Hermitage, PA. Also surviving are two grandchildren, John and Megan Stahl. She is survived by her fur babies; Pickles, Whitey, Nash, Bean Paste, Franchiti, and Luca.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bob, 2 sisters Mary Reed and Helen Stahl, daughter-in-law, Jill (Miller) Stahl, and son-in-law Leonard Hosick.
Memorial services will be held Wed. Sept. 27, 2017 at 1 pm. in the Sharpsville United Methodist Church with Rev. Joseph Yurko Jr. officiating. Friends are welcome to meet directly at the church.
Her family would like to thank Nugent Convalescent Home and Three Rivers Hospice for their wonderful care.
Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the Sharpsville Volunteer Fire Dept. Station 82 at 214 W. Main St. Sharpsville, PA.
