Paul Phillip "Bo" Behary, 78, of Hermitage, passed away on Friday January 18th, 2019 at Sharon Regional Hospital Sharon, PA.
Paul was born on June 24th, 1940 to Paul and Susanna (Dinges) Behary in Sharon, PA. He graduated from Sharon High School, class of 1958. He served in the United States Army. Paul earned his bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University in Industrial Engineering, and worked at Westinghouse until it closed. Paul worked as a mail carrier and clerk for United States Postal Service in Sharpsville, PA. On September 4th, 1976 he married his wife Linda D. (Parker) Behary who survives at home.
He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. Paul enjoyed baseball, golf, fishing, was an excellent bowler, and could build or fix anything. He would always put his family first and was affectionately known as “the worlds best grandfather”.
Paul is survived by his loving wife Linda D. Behary, son, David (Susan) Hefner, of Austintown, OH, daughter, Heather Wharry and her fiancé Daniel Smith, of Erie, PA, 6 grandchildren, Anthony Hefner, Jordan Hefner, Jeremy Novelli, Makenzy Hefner, Isaac Wharry, and Noah Hefner. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, mother-in-law, Viola Parker, Sandy Lake, PA; sisters-in-law, Diane (Lester) White, Mt. Nebo, WV, and Donna (Richard) Willey, Plymouth, MN.
He was preceded in death by father, Paul Behary, mother, Susanna Behary, and sister, Carol Behary.
Friends may call Wednesday, January 23rd 2019 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the SHERMAN Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 2201 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 23rd 2019 at 3:00 pm in the SHERMAN Funeral Home, Hermitage, PA, with Rev. Dr. Ericjon Thomas, pastor of St. Paul United Church of Christ, officiating.
Burial will take place in Americas Cemetery.
