Quentin D. “Sam” Mattocks, 98, of Pulaski, passed away on May 14th, 2018 at O’Briens Care Home in Masury, OH.
Sam was born on September 27th, 1919 to David and Clara (Taylor) Mattocks in Sharpsville, PA. He worked as a foreman for Hall Lumber & Manufacture. He was a veteran of World War II where he served in the US Army. He was also a very active member of the International Order of Odd Fellows IOOF and a life member of Clark Volunteer Fire Department.
Sam is survived by his son, Thomas Mattocks and sister, Ethel Coppage.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Larry Mattocks, David Mattocks, first wife Marguerite Kelley, second wife Mary L. Miller, brothers, Harry, Paul, George, sisters, Martha, Alice, Clara, Louise, and Edith.
Friends may call Friday May 18th, 2018 from 4 pm to 6 pm in the SHERMAN Funeral Home & cremation service 2201 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA 16148.
Funeral services will be held Friday May 18th, 2018 at 6:30 pm in the SHERMAN Funeral Home with Rev. Anthony Kladitis of Faith Presbyterian Church, officiating
Burial will take place in Haywood Cemetery West Middlesex, PA.
