Robert S. Hartranft

Robert S. Hartranft, 79 of Hermitage passed away peacefully on October 17th, 2025 in St. Elizabeth Hospital Youngstown, OH.

Robert was born January 13th, 1946 to Julia (Chunko) and Phillip Rosenfeld in Easton, PA. After graduating from high school, Robert served 20 years in the US Air Force during both Vietnam and the Cold War. After his honorable discharge, he worked as a Chef for multiple companies. On November 6th, 1980 he married his wife, Gail F. (Dufresne) Hartranft, who survives at home.

He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and loved to golf. Robert also enjoyed taking care of his home and lawn. He was an avid Patriots football fan and SC Gamecocks. 

Robert is survived be his wife, Gail F. Hartranft, sons, David (Carrie) Hartranft, Paul (Nicole) Labrecque, daughters, Michelle (Dana) Anderson, Paula (Gary) Lanciotti, grandchildren, Corey (Mallory) Dame, Amber Anderson, Codey Dame, Jasmine Hobson(Dalton) Jonathan Hobson, Addison Hartranft, Kaleb (Erica) Hobson, Lukas Hartranft, Wyatt Labrecque and 8 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Tee (Randy) Decker, Carol (Wayne) Werner , brothers, Richie (Jean) Hartranft, and Allen (Kathy) Rosenfeld.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jimmy (Jeanne) Hartranft.

Per his wish, private funeral services will be held.
