Robert Charles Sisco, 80, passed away on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024 while surrounded by his beloved family. “Bob” was born February 22nd, 1944 to Frances Kank Sisco and Rose Agnes (Humm) in Pittsburgh, PA. He resided in Hermitage, PA with his wife of 58 years, Irene Reginia (Eskofier) Sisco.
Bob was a well-known and loved community member. He faithfully served our country and was a retired U.S. Army Reserve MSG Battalion Supply SGT. “The Sisco Kid” made many friends in his diverse career as a Howard Johnson restaurant manager, Hickory Township equipment operator, dispatcher for the City of Hermitage, and a police officer in West Middlesex. He was known for his kindness and will to lend a helping hand. He dedicated thousands of hours over the years to volunteering for the Hermitage Fire department, the Buhl Club, and Goodfellas. Bob had an unwavering commitment to serving others. Whether organizing events, participating in fundraisers, or spreading joy during the holiday season, he was a man you could count on to help anyone. Bob was an active member of the Masonic Lodge, holding multiple positions over the years and embodied the principles of brotherhood, charity, and integrity. His devotion extended beyond the lodge, as he was also a proud member of the Royal Order of Jesters, Zem Zem Legion of Honor, Mercer County Shrine Club, and West Middlesex Kedron Lodge 389.
Throughout Bob’s life, he cherished each moment with his loved ones, as nothing mattered more to him than being a support for all. His legacy will live on through the many lives he impacted. Robert is survived by his wife Irene, their three daughters Renee (Drew) Bartosh, Donna (Robert) Li, and Christina (Mark) Pegg, seven grandchildren Michele, John, Amanda, Samantha, Brandon, Roberta, and Brittany, and four great-granddaughters Serenity, Olivia, Harper, and Delilah.
