Ronald J. Adderty, 85, of Canfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025, at Hospice of the Valley. Ron was born on February 20, 1940, to Joseph and Kathryn (Hardy) Adderty. He graduated from Sharon High School in 1958 and earned his engineering degree from Youngstown State University. He worked as a supervisor at Republic Steel in Youngstown, Ohio, and later at UOP in Tonawanda, New York. Ron enjoyed the outdoors and Sprint Car racing. He especially enjoyed spending time at his cabin and hunting. He is survived by his wife, Carol (Durisko); his children, Tod (Kim) Garrett and Jody (Paul) Dolak; and his grandchildren, Zack, Mitchell, Tyler, and Joshua. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Dolores DeCapua and Marcie Kostka. He was a member of St. Luke’s Parish in Boardman, Ohio.
Per Ron’s request, services were held privately.
