Ronald “Jim” Rotunno, 81, of Masury, passed away on Saturday September 16th, 2017 at Sharon Regional Health System.
Jim was born on February 13th, 1936 to Michael M. and Rosella (Morgan) Rotunno in Sharon, PA. He graduated from Brookfield High School class of 1954. Following high school, he served in the U.S. Army stationed in Korea. Jim worked as a car checker for Norfolk Southern, until his retirement after 37 years. On May 23rd, 1959 he married his wife, the late Judith (Jameison) Rotunno who passed away July 31st, 2006.
Most important to Jim was spending time with his grandchildren and family. In his younger years he enjoyed playing golf and gardening.
Jim is survived by his son, Michael (Danielle) Rotunno of Masury, OH, son in law, Tony Sciarro of Hermitage, PA, sisters, Mary Ann (Robert) Paul of San Diego, CA, Nancy (Don) Shields of Masury, OH, a brother, Charlie (Carol) Rotunno of Deleware. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, Jason and Michael Sciarro and Ciara and Sheridan Rotunno, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by father, Michael Rotunno, mother, Rosella Rotunno, wife, Judith Rotunno, and daughter, Connie Sciarro.
Per his request, there will be no services at this time.
