Rose Trebus Yavorsky Adams
Rose Adams, 92, of New Wilmington, passed away on Tuesday May 10th, 2016 at Overlook Nursing Home in New Wilmington, PA.
Rose was born on May 16th, 1923 to Peter and Rose (Dorner) Trebus in Lowellville, OH. She attended Youngstown City Schools. Rose worked as a Housekeeper for Sharpsville Area School District. On July 23rd, 1977 she married the late Raymond "Jack" Adams, who passed away March 18th, 1985.
She enjoyed embroidering and was excellent at it, Rose also was an accomplished cook, baker, she canned and she loved to play bingo. Most important to her was spending time with her family.
Rose is survived by her four daughters, Rosemary Totten of New Castle, PA, Sandra (Howard) Mellott of West Middlesex, PA, Florence Godsave of Sharpsville, PA, Susan (Mike) Hume of Montesano, WA; two sons, Steven (Juanita) Yavorsky of Manchester, OH, Thomas (Pamela) Yavorsky of Greenville, PA; two daughter in laws, Karna Yavorsky of Volant, PA, Barbara Yavorsky of Sharpsville, PA; two brothers, Martin (Pamela) Trebus, Floyd (Patricia) Trebus both of Youngstown, OH; and sister in law, Louise Trebus of Willoughby, OH.
She was preceded in death by father, Peter Trebus, mother, Rose Trebus, husband, Raymond "Jack" Adams, son, Francis "Frank" A. Yavorsky, Jr., son, William Yavorsky, infant daughter, Helen Patricia Yavorsky, brothers, Louis Trebus, Peter Trebus, and Henry Trebus; sisters Katherine Okusewsky and Theresa Davidson.
Rose is survived by 5 generations and has 74 descendants.
Friends may call Saturday, May 14th, 2016, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Stephen J. Sherman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 2201 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 14th, 2016, at 5:00 pm in the Stephen J. Sherman Funeral Home, Hermitage, PA, with Rev. Rebecca Rosengarth, officiating.
Burial will take place in Americas Cemetery Hermitage, PA.
