Rose Gallas Obituary
Rose Ann Gallas, 76, of Hermitage, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 23rd, 2019 in Nugent Convalescent Home.
Rose was born on March 13th, 1942 to Henry F. and Rose Katherine (Miller) Gallas in Sharon, PA. She was a graduate of the Mercer County School for Crippled Children and a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Adalbert’s Church in Farrell, PA. Rose enjoyed reading and sewing in her spare time.
Rose is survived by her sister, Charlotte Ricci of Hermitage, PA, niece, Amanda (Steve) Von Oetinger of Florida, and nephew, Michael Ricci of Cortland, OH. Also surviving is great nephew, John Von Oetinger and great niece, Enza Von Oetinger.
She was preceded in death by father, Henry F. Gallas, mother, Rose Katherine Gallas, and brother, Kenneth Gallas.
Friends may call Saturday January 26th, 2019 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at SHERMAN Funeral Home & Cremation Service 2201 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 26th, 2019 in the SHERMAN Funeral Home with Very Rev. Richard Allen, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Rose to the charity of donors’ choice.
Burial will take place in St. Adalbert’s Cemetery.
