Rosemary Cerra Obituary
Rosemary Cerra, 90, of Hermitage, passed away 8:00 am on Saturday November 14th, 2015 at John XXIII of natural causes.
She was born on June 18th, 1925 to Anthony and Mary (Yacullo) Zarella in Farrell, PA. She graduated from Farrell High School class of 1943. Rosemary worked as a secretary for the Fruit, Goodwin, Dill, and Scholl Law Firm. In 1945 she married the late Arthur C. Cerra who passed away on February 26th, 2002.
Rosemary was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Farrell, PA. She was very active in local arts and at the community center. Rosemary was an accomplished landscape and scenery artist, painter, and decorator.
Rosemary is survived by her son - Christopher S. (Kathleen A.) Cerra of Aberdeen, NJ; 2 Grandchildren - Lauren (Michael) Fallon and Ian Cerra.
She was preceded in death by father, Anthony Zarella, mother, Mary Zarella, husband, Arthur C. Cerra, and brother, Dominic Zarella.
Mass of Christian Burial held on Friday, November 20th, 2015, 11:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church with Father Donald Berdis, officiating.
Burial will take place in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Our Lady of Fatima Church or John XXIII Nursing Home in memory of Rosemary.
