Vinnie E. (Walter) O'Conner

Vinnie E. O’Conner, 81, of Sharon passed away peacefully on January 27th, 2025 in UPMC Jameson New Castle, PA.

Vinnie was born October 4th, 1943 to Mary E. (Brannon) and Harvey Walter in Sharon, PA. She was a graduate of West Middlesex High School. Throughout her life she was affectionately known as a homemaker. Vinnie enjoyed playing bingo, card games with friends and family, and also watching the game show network.

She is survived by her daughter, Andrea M. (Bradley A.) Sterling of Sharon, daughter, Abigail L. Johnston of Sharon, son, Adam R. (April) Laughlin of Braceville, OH, daughter, Elizabeth R. Struge of Sharon, daughter, Amber L. Laughlin of Hermitage, PA, 18 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sister, Marlee A. Violante, Linda Tulip, Carol O’Neil, Debby Confer, Tina Dunkle, brother, Leonard J. (Linda) Violante, Larry Walter, Dick Walter, and Fred Walter.

Vinnie was preceded in death by her parents, step parents, Emma Walter and Leonard Violante, husband, David L. Gitschier, husband, Ronald E. Laughlin, husband, Raymond O’Conner, children, Shelly R. Gitschier, Eric J. Gitschier, Hoyt L. Gitschier, Davalene E. Ziccardi, sister, Gail Austin, and brother, John Walter.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
